We have been continuously developing the VAlog® method for good governance since 1997. It was first described by us in 2012 in a publication for pension provision and is therefore protected by copyright and, since 2014, also by trademark law.

Alternative Fee Arrangements (VA-ALFA)
GRC main mandate fee agreement
We charge our fees according to the RVG fee rate for the value of the matter in question. The value of the item is the cross sum of the balance sheet total + annual turnover. The fee is thus aligned with the economic size. We do not charge by the hour.
GRC initial consultation fee agreement
Our initial consultation is more than just a general introductory consultation. The fee for the basic initial GRC audit is 10% of the prospective main mandate fee rate.
Individual agreements
In the case of high amounts in dispute or in representation cases, we make individual fee agreements that take into account the objectives, risks and scope of the mandate.
The LegalTech software VAlog® GRC is developed by fiib® GmbH, which is affiliated with our law firm. For mandates with VAlog® GRC, license fees are passed on 1:1 as expenses without surcharges.
This means that the distinction between legal advice and software licenses remains clear and comprehensible.
